H&M’s new label & Other Stories has just launched offering a one-stop shop for beautifully designed clothing, lingerie, footwear and bags to fragrance and beauty. Pitched cleverly between the store group’s other brands, it is younger in styling than Cos, has more of a luxury boutique feel than H&M‘s fast fashion format, and is more grown-up than Monki. Their swimwear collection is a well considered mix of embellished basics and more fashion forward and print driven styles. Prices start from £12.
With the news that March 2013 is set to be the coldest in Britain for fifty years, it was no surprise that record-breaking numbers of Britons will be flying to sunnier climes over the bank holiday weekend. In its article on Tuesday, London newspaper Evening Standard reported that Gatwick Airport, a budget airline specialist, expects to break previous Easter records with 1.6 million passengers over the next two weeks. The first images of Beyonce’s high summer campaign for H&M were released this week. The brand’s blog states:
“Beyoncé has worked with the in-house design team at H&M to create the perfect pieces for the heat of summer. Included in the collection are also garments – among them a tie-dye bikini – 25 per cent of sales of which will be donated to H&M for Water.”
